Quote It: Forbes Magazine

So, for our second blog post (which is also the second of the day – we know, but it’s new!). We thought we would keep it short and sweet and tell you about one of our favourite places on the web.

A recent finds is Forbes magazine’s ‘Thought of the Day’. We don’t know why it took us so long to find it as it’s one of America’s biggest glossy’s, but now we have, we love the daily dose of topical quotes which range from deep and philosophical to humorous and to the point. It’s great for promoting thought, empathy and smiles!

We must admit we are a bit of a fan of quotes, not everyday ‘Never Forget Where You Came From’ type quotes, but those with lots of meaning, mostly personal and relevant, which have been said by some of the greatest philanthropists, leaders and inspirational members of our society. We would love to share some of these with you in the not too distant future and make this a regular posting here.

For now however , we will leave you with Forbes ‘Thought of the Day’ for 8th December 2015,  it’s a deep one…

‘Teach self-denial and make its practice pleasure, and you can create for the world a destiny more sublime that ever issued from the brain of the wildest dreamer.’  ~ Sir Walter Scott
